V Rama Kumar is the Founder and CEO of Tarang Software Technologies. Rama stepped into the shoes of an entrepreneur in the year 2000 when he successfully founded Tarang. Prior to this he worked with Wipro for 18 years. Rama commenced his career as a software programmer at Wipro writing software for banks and insurance companies. He rose to become Chief Executive of Wipro's Solutions and System Integration business in 1995.

Rama Kumar was Corporate Vice President for the Six Sigma initiative reporting to the Chairman of Wipro in 1996. He was responsible for launching Six Sigma across Wipro and re-engineering several critical business processes. He later became Chief Executive of Wipro's E-Commerce, CRM and Data Warehousing business in 1998.

Rama has been able to nurture Tarang from its start-up days to its current position. He raised USD 5.5 mm funding and brought in GIV and Sequoia as Investors. He built an excellent team of professionals and has taken Tarang to leadership in two domains - Payments and ELearning.

He made an acquisition CyberCash Inc in 2001 and launched Tarang into Payments. He helped acquire marquee customers for Tarang in Verisign, First Data Management Systems, eOne Global, Volvo, Teligence Communications, Wipro, Infosys among others. Rama has led Tarang into becoming a fast growing and profitable company.

Rama holds a B.Tech degree from Madras Institute of Technology and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Rama says that Tarang is his passion and he is focused on making it one of the top companies in its space. When not working, he is out trekking in the mountains with his wife and two sons.

Sanjeev Patil is a Senior Executive in the Enterprise software industry, with over 12 years of experience at domestic and international level.

Sanjeev has a successful track record in Business Development, Consultative Enterprise Solutions Sales, Marketing & Research and Building Partnerships. He has significantly contributed to the Payments business in Tarang and continues to spearhead the same in North America and Canada.

Prior to joining Tarang, Sanjeev was with ReadiMinds Software Pvt. Ltd. specialized in providing Web Services Enterprise Solutions like EAI, B2Bi and B2C solutions using BPM/BPEL tools. During his Business Development role, his esteemed clients represented different geographies in Asia-Pacific, with respective vertical engagements in Retail, Finance and Manufacturing.

Sanjeev has deep understanding of Internet enabled services, Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services technology, with respect to its cross-industry business applications. During his tenure as a professional, Sanjeev has helped the customers and partners in addressing their pains. He further helped them with his expertise in innovative solutions and setting up ODC teams to their benefits. Sanjeev possesses strong business skills in Account management, Offshore and Onshore software services.

Sanjeev did his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication and MBA with specialization in Sales and Marketing. He has also undertaken Executive Development Program in Supply Chain Management from IIT-Delhi.
