Tarang has the expertise to manage every aspect of Moodle deployment, starting from comprehensive customization to managed hosting and support. The levels of customization depends on the following features supported by us:
- Ability to host multiple courseware
- Resource: Create and post directories of hyperlinks to other web sites, as well as individual web pages
- File Access: Upload any type of file (e.g., Rich Text Format, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, etc.) and make it available for use by learners
- Calendar: Create and maintain a schedule of course assignments, tests, and other important dates
- Chat: Moodle allows real-time synchronous communication, regardless of location through the use of the chat module
- Choice: Provides a simple single question survey that can be used to facilitate discussion or act as a polling instrument
- Database: Allows the teacher and/or students to build, display and search a bank of record entries about any conceivable topic. The format and structure of these entries can be almost unlimited, including images, files, URLs, numbers and text amongst other things
- Discussion Forum: Allows collaborative organization and communication among learners, regardless of time or location. Forum discussion posts and replies also allow one to attach a file up to 10MB in size, making it easy for students to share files with other course participants. Forums may also be searched by keyword or phrase
- Glossary: create a database that allows easy searching and sorting capabilities as well as automatic term linking when any word or phrase from the glossary module is typed into a discussion forum
- Guided Lesson: create rich content lessons with simple navigation between pages
- Assignment: Assignments can be outlined, submitted, and graded online
- Quiz: Interactive assessments consisting of multiple-choice questions (and many other types) can be created, assigned, provide feedback and/or multiple attempts, and graded
- SCORM/AICC: A course activity which allows a course teacher to upload any SCORM (version 1.2) or AICC package to include in your course. SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a collection of specifications that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of web-based learning content
- Wiki: A wiki is a collection of collaboratively authored web documents. Basically, a wiki page is a web page everyone in your class can create together, right in the browser, without needing to know HTML. A wiki starts with one front page. Each author can add other pages to the wiki by simply creating a link to a page that doesn't exist yet
- Workshop: A course peer assessment activity with a huge array of options which allows participants to assess each other's projects, as well as exemplar projects, in a number of ways. It also coordinates the collection and distribution of these assessments
- Reports/Tracking: Basic Reports on Usage, course completion etc
