Tarang develops "No Excuses", A unique eLearning courseware on sexual harassment

Bangalore based Tarang Software Technologies (Tarang), a leading provider of eLearning solutions, today announced that it has developed an eLearning courseware on sexual harassment called "No Excuses" for the Bangalore based Interweave, a Diversity Management Consultancy. Interweave is making this courseware available to large multi-location organizations in India.  

"No Excuses" is an e-learning module, designed specifically for the Indian workplace. This courseware, will, in a simple and engaging manner, help the learner understand his/her role in creating a safe and respectful workplace. With the help of real life cases, the learner is guided through the subject from recognizing sexual harassment to how to prevent and report incidents appropriately. Through the narrator, the learner gets as close an experience as possible to a class room session, with the added advantage of it being self paced and available 24x7 for employees to go to whenever they want.

 Announcing this, Mr. V. Rama Kumar, CEO, Tarang, said "The Tarang - Interweave partnership commenced in February 2007. As the technology partner in creating the product, Tarang converted a simple PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes into a self-paced and interactive learning module. Tarang will provide all technology support on this initiative and will execute any customization that may be required by companies". 

"Based on how this product is received, more sophisticated versions of the courseware would be developed. Additionally, Interweave would also look to Tarang to continue to provide its expertise to update/upgrade the courseware as new e-learning tools/techniques come into the market." added V.
