Tarang achieves SEI CMM Level 4
Tarang Software Technologies, a Bangalore based solutions and services company with focus on the web, wireless; and payments domain, has announced that it has been assessed at Level 4 of the Software Capability Maturity Model; (SW-CMM) of the Software Engineering Institute. The assessment was undertaken by KPMG. Tarang has been; assessed; for Design and Development of Software.
"Tarang Software stands out because of Top Management focus on Quality. They drive Quality with a view to delighting their customers and achieving business objectives, " said Mr. K K. Raman, Lead Assessor KPMG.
"Quality is No 1 priority at Tarang. Solid and robust processes are key to achieving growth and delighting customers. The Assessment gives Tarang added stature and respect in the industry" added Mr.V. Rama Kumar, Tarang's Chief Executive Officer.
Tarang Software Technologies is founded by ex Wipro veterans Rama Kumar and Revathi Kasturi.. The activities leading to a Level 4 certification started in July 2002. The company's goal is to achieve SEI CMM Level 5 in another one- year's time.
CMM is registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Carnegie Mellon University.
