News Tarang announces eLearning initiative for TIBangalore, October- Bangalore based Tarang Software Technologies (Tarang), a leading provider of eLearning solutions, today announced that it has developed an eLearning courseware for the Chennai headquartered engineering major Tube Investments of India (TI). TI is the flagship Company of the Rs. 7350cr Murugappa Group. It manufactures precision steel tubes and strips, car doorframes, automotive and industrial chains and bicycles.
The courseware developed by Tarang, will be used by TI to train workshop technicians across production, quality and maintenance functions. This courseware will be used for initial training and as subsequent reference material for the technicians. At the end of the training program, the learners will have the required skill sets to proficiently engage themselves on the workshop floor and adhere to best practices of TI.
"This eLearning initiative is aimed at adding value to the current model of training . It is a step within the Murugappa Group towards Knowledge Management using technological advances such as this. It is the work of several months of knowledge gathering . The eLearning courseware developed by Tarang is presented with rich animation and visuals which make it an easy-to-learn environment for these technicians." said Ravi Kannan, VP Technology, TI.
