Our client was looking for solution to acquire and provide the features to existing customer on loyalty, Gift, private label features. The current system needs to customize to NFC device and interface with back end server to acquire these transactions from merchant locations.
Solution
Tarang developed the front end channel to communicate with back end systems required to customize the features based on Client's requirements, and provide the Client's front end systems to share to existing customer to utilize these features.

Monex Securities, one of the largest brokerage firms in Japan decided to take the challenge of changing the investment habits of the Japanese people. It took the risk of bringing about innovation in investing pattern. Its innovative marketing strategy has paid off with the success of the Account Aggregation service and Monex being remembered as the company that brought Aggregation to Japan. The service branded as Money Station is powered by Tarang's technology.
Business Case
Monex Securities was looking at enhancing its existing portfolio of services. They had launched a service called Money Station and were looking at bundling other offerings with it that would be useful to the customer. One such service was e-advice, which would allow users to take decisions on their aggregated portfolio across financial institutions.
Challenges
The entry into the customer account had been made by implementing Account Aggregation. The customer was happy to be the first mover in the Japanese market to launch the service. There was a certain level of expectation based on the previous success. Hence to build something that was an extension to that was a challenge for Tarang. The implementation had to be done in Japanese. A thorough knowledge of the language in communication and its usage in the development was critical (double byte support). The solution had to integrate and work with Money Station the Account Aggregation offering. Development and release in a period of 4 months.
Solution
Tarang worked on design, development, testing and integration of the e-advice solution for Monex. The solution integrate with Money Station and would advice users on the most appropriate investment option based on the amount of risk they were willing to take and the period over which they were expecting returns. The solution was delivered and integrated with the clients Money Station offering. Monex now provides e-advice service branded as Money Planner.

Tarang designed, developed and implemented three applications for the client on their Electronic Cash Registers (ECR) using Embedded C on the proprietary Software Development Kit (SDK). All the applications are independent.

The client wanted its customers to benefit from the most advanced fraud prevention measures to combat the direct costs of fraudulent transactions and reduce the occurrence of chargebacks.
Solution
Tarang designed, developed and implemented the Fraud Scoring System (FSS). The system consists of two modular components: one housing negative database and velocity checks and a fraud scoring module, comprised of history and geography tests, that assigns a 'grade' to transactions.
The automated, dependable Fraud Scoring System (FSS) performs customer profiling to identify good and bad transactions.
The system applies advanced scrubbing techniques to detect potential fraud and can be activated for front-end decisioning, back-end scrubs, or be turned off altogether. This highly adaptable system will be merchant configurable, allowing merchants maintain full control over their risk tolerance and final acceptance or rejection of an order and provide robust real time reporting functions.

Client is one of the largest global providers of electronic payment solutions and value-added services at the point-of-transaction. It is the only company in its industry to provide complete, end-to-end high security payment solutions. These solutions range from countertop and mobile credit/debit payment terminals to network devices and services that expedite the fast and secure transmission of vital financial and business data.
Business Case
Client had manufactured new generation terminals named T4100 and T42xx. They were looking for an Offshore Partner, who would help them launch the terminals globally in a short span of time with some of their client applications ported to new terminals. Tarang was chosen to work with the Client's partners in the Global market to rewrite and develop the applications based on their respective business needs.

An ODC model was followed for this project and the team worked on the following:
A team of 20 developers worked on around 30 projects related to various types of applications like Credit/Debit, Loyalty, Gift, Redemption Points, Mobile Top Up, Generic Sale, EMV Transaction etc.

Client is a market leader in contactless/NFC payment software, over the air (OTA) card provisioning, promotion, and transaction management infrastructure software, NFC smart posters, and contactless readers/writers.
Business Case
Client was seeking a partner for firmware development on their mobile phones and contactless POS. Tarang was chosen to work on micro controller embedded systems, drivers, libraries etc. Tarang worked on embedded projects to develop contactless readers and provided support to all the client's customers, who required these readers.
Solution
An offshore development centre was set up where the team worked on firmware development and POS applications. The team had worked on Readers VP 4500, VP 5000 doing enhancements and bug fixes and has been working on building next generation Reader VP 6500 and application maintenance on OMNI 3750 POS terminal.

Client had tied-up with many banks, mobile device manufacturers and air service providers in India to take their mobile payment services to the market. Client supported business transactions like Get Money, Send Money, Get Balance, Get History, Mobile Top up and Bill Payment etc for their customers. Client was looking for a partner who could develop superior mobile payment applications to support the above.

The Client
Client is a specialized provider of POS solutions and customized electronic banking solutions in Saudi Arabia. It was the first to introduce state-of-the-art electronic banking systems with locally designed software and sub systems and Smart Cards in Saudi.
Business Case
Client wanted to develop and certify a point-of-sale payment application which complied with EMV specification as it was mandatory in Saudi Arabia. Tarang was a preferred partner because of its deep understanding of the POS & Payments domain.
Solution
Tarang worked with the client to develop and certify SPAN II application on MagIC terminal. SPAN II is the latest specification for implementing EMV Level II in Saudi Arabia and it is mandatory for any payment application on POS/ATM to comply with this specification. EMV is the Europay Mastercard Visa Integrated Chip Card Standard to ensure secure POS payment transactions.
